Fans Can Be Our Twelfth Man

16 April 2014

Chief Executive Russ Green has called on the town to come out in force this Easter Monday after the Club slashed ticket prices for the game with Morecambe to just £5.

Green explained that the move is aimed to attempting to attract a larger crowd than normal to Victoria Park and help generate an even better atmosphere to drive the team on.

“I was at our game with Portsmouth a couple of weeks ago and they had a large crowd which gave the team a big lift,” Green told us.

“I’d love us to be able to create something similar at Victoria Park on Monday and hopefully this offer will help persuade a few more fans to come and enjoy the game.

“We know how much this Football Club means to everyone connected to it so we want everyone to come together on Monday and make it an atmosphere to remember and hopefully a result to match.

“It’s clichéd I know, but our fans can be the twelfth man on Monday and help give us the edge as we look for the results we need to finish as high up the table as possible.

“So tell everyone you know about the offer and let’s Pack the Park!”

Tickets for Monday’s game are on sale now from the Club’s Ticket Office and are priced at £5 across the board for all areas of the ground.

There will also be availability on the turnstiles prior to kick-off on Monday but fans are advised to buy in advance where possible.
