We preview tonight’s Sky Bet League Two trip to face Bury at the newly-named JD Stadium (7.45pm kick-off).
Hartlepool United v Bury
Sky Bet League Two
Tuesday 26th November 2013, 7.45pm
The JD Stadium, Bury
Pools are on the road tonight when they make the relatively short journey to take on Ronnie Jepson’s Bury side at The JD Stadium.
There was a huge turnover of players at Bury during the summer with an incredible 21 new players signing for The Shakers following relegation.
Despite a reasonable start to the campaign, a run of just one win in twelve outings from the end of August in to October cost Kevin Blackwell his job – Ronnie Jepson stepping in the hotseat until at least January.
Jepson’s first game in charge saw them pick up three impressive points at Wycombe Wanderers with a 2-1 win though they’ve drawn three of their four fixtures.
They currently lie 21st in the League Two table and will be looking for their third league victory on home soil in tonight’s game.
The last meeting between the two sides came at Victoria Park at the start of April when two goals from Andy Monkhouse saw Pools to a comfortable 2-0 victory.
It was a stark contrast to what had been a terrible night at Bury earlier in the season when a 2-1 defeat proved to be popular boss Neale Cooper’s last in charge of the Club.

Head To Head
Andy Monkhouse will definitely be missing for Pools after he collected his fifth booking of the season on Saturday and so incurring a one-game suspension.
