Pools will be wearing an all-new, one-off kit for Saturday’s FA Cup tie with Notts County as the Club once again do their bit to raise funds for the British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
For the last seven seasons Pools have been major supporters of the annual charity appeal, wearing a poppy emblem on their shirts and then auctioning them off after the game.
This season we’ve gone for a brand new look to ensure the shirts are a real collector’s item for potential bidders and ensure that we raise as much money as possible for the Poppy Appeal.
“We’ve always tried to support the British Legion’s Poppy Appeal and we’re delighted to be able to do so again,” explained Chief Executive Russ Green.
“We were among the first clubs to incorporate a poppy logo on to match shirts and we’re proud of the amount of money our supporters have helped us raise over the last seven years.
“Hopefully these shirts will go down well once again so we can come close to beating the magnificent totals we’ve raised in the past.”
Details of how you can get your hands on one of the unique match-worn shirts will be published here on the Official Website next week.
