Pools Keeper Nets Further Accolade

2 May 2013

Scott Flinders has scooped yet another award today after being named as the Hartlepool Mail Player of the Year for 2012/13.

The Pools keeper has already been named as both the Supporters' and Players' Player of the Year as well as taking the Away Player of the Year accolade.

Flinders was in top form for the entirety of the campaign and made some incredible saves as Pools battled to try and avoid relegation to League Two.

The 26-year-old joined the Club in the summer of 2009 and has gone on to establish a reputation as one of the finest keepers in the lower divisions.
