A long-time Pools fan celebrated a Bank Holiday weekend cash windfall after our Goldline Lottery provided yet another £500 Jackpot.Frank Carr scooped the brilliant prize in last week's draw and popped along to Victoria Park to collect his bumper cheque from Chief Executive Russ Green.
A Pools regular since 1952, Carr is a former resident of the town but now makes the 200-mile round trip from his home in Doncaster to get behind the lads at The Vic.
And he says whatever of the money is left over when his wife and daughter are finished shopping will go towards a Season Ticket for 2013/14.
"I think the family are going to be treating themselves to some new shoes first, that seems to be the priority!" he laughed.
"Hopefully I can put some of it towards a Season Ticket and hopefully we can have a good campaign in League Two.
"I've been playing the different lottery schemes at Pools for around six years and it's a great way to support the youngsters coming through the system - but it's also brilliant to win something!"
Pools Goldline Lottery costs just £1 a week, with 70p of that providing much-needed revenue direct towards the Club's Youth Development Scheme.
