Over the weekend we celebrated the 22nd anniversary of the promotion-clinching win over Northampton Town at Victoria Park.
Pools fans took to Twitter and Facebook to share their memories of the 1990/91 campaign, which was the first time the Club had got themselves out of the bottom division in over twenty years.
Goals from Paul Dalton, Joe Allon and Paul Baker were enough to hand Pools a 3-1 victory on 11th May 1991, after which supporters poured on to the pitch in celebration.
Almost 7,000 crammed in to The Vic on one of the most memorable afternoons in the Club's history to witness the team come from a goal behind to secure a priceless three points.
Paul Dalton got the ball rolling for Pools when he levelled things up and it's the image of that goal which is the subject of our Photo of the Week today.
