Several members of the Pools squad made a splash on Tuesday afternoon as they went swimming after hearing news of the Oldham game being postponed.Physio Ian Gallagher led a group of five players to Mill House Leisure Centre where they spent two hours going through various exercises in the water.
Jack Baldwin, Peter Hartley, Andy Rafferty, Jordan Richards and Antony Sweeney all took part in several different swimming drills designed to put them through their paces.
"Swimming is a great exercise for all the players, especially those who are out through injury at the moment," Gallagher explained.
"We had to take it easy with Jack and Jordan because of their knee injuries but they both managed to do everything the others were doing so it was pleasing.
"As well as getting through lots of good fitness work, it's also an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours so the lads were keen to come along."
We'll have a video report from the swimming session coming on Pools Player later today.
