Antony Sweeney will feature for the Reserves in their Central League East fixture against Hull City at North Ferriby on Wednesday night (7pm kick-off).The midfielder came off the bench late in Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Colchester United after spending six weeks on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Now he will step up his bid to return to full fitness by getting some game time under his belt against The Tigers this evening.
"It's good to have him back because he's a big player for us," Micky Barron explained.
"We're pleased we can give him some time on the pitch tonight and we're looking for him to play the first half ideally.
"It's another big test for us at Hull - we've got a young side out but we just want them to take on board what we've been telling them and continue on from the last Reserve game.
"I think Brad Walker being named on the bench will give everyone a boost; it's good to see the young players coming through and challenging and Brad deserved to be involved at the weekend.
"Now we want that to act as a spur to him and the other young lads - they need to perform in games like that and try to push on."
We'll have a full report and reaction on the game here on the Official Website after the final whistle.
