What is the greatest game you’ve seen at Victoria Park?
Pools 0 Darlington 0 23rd February 1991
Tell us your memories of the game you selected.
The most entertaining 0-0 in creation, Prudhoe had the game of his life that game, I've never seen us bully a team so much and not come away with the win. A close second is the Luton 4-3 with Hugh's thunderbolt.
What is the greatest goal you’ve seen at Victoria Park?
Adam Boyd v Sheffield Wednesday, 15th April 2005
Tell us your memories of the goal you selected?
Already 2-0 up and cruising against a team that were "massive", Boyd picks up the ball on the edge of the box, peers through the monsoon at an oncoming challenge... dummies, then dummies another. Players are sprawling and Adam sees the keeper slightly off his line. A deft chip and the ball is over the keeper, everyone goes mental and Adam has his first hat-trick.
Who is the greatest Pools player you’ve seen at Victoria Park?
What are your memories of the player you selected?
The lad had everything and without injury would have played at the very top. His goals were just part of the story, also throwing in assist after assist for Porter and Williams. Often vilified by some fans for his playing style and its perceived link to his social activities, his genius shines through more than any player I've seen at The Vic.
