Pools Ready For Second Dutch Game

6 July 2013

As expected Colin Cooper has shuffled his pack for this afternoon’s friendly against Telstar at the TATA Steel Stadium in Velzen-Zuid.

The Pools boss has drafted Simon Walton, Lewis Hawkins, Andy Monkhouse and Luke James in to his starting eleven for the second and final game of the Club’s Dutch tour.

Scott Flinders and Steve Howard are set to sit out this afternoon’s game though; both are carrying slight niggles and Cooper is reluctant to rush the duo in to playing before they’re ready.

The rest of the squad will all be on the bench and the majority could once again get a run-out at some stage during the second half.

The game kicks-off at 3pm Dutch time which is 2pm back in England and we’ll have a full report and reaction here on the Official Website after the final whistle.
