Compton Set For Home Debut

Colin Cooper has named a strong starting line-up for this afternoon’s friendly against Middlesbrough at Victoria Park (3pm kick-off).

Scott Flinders once again starts in goal, with Sam Collins and Jack Baldwin paired in the centre of defence; Peter Hartley and Neil Austin occupy the full-back positions.

Antony Sweeney and Simon Walton will again operate together in midfield, with Jack Compton and Jonathan Franks asked to provide the ammunition for Andy Monkhouse and Luke James in attack.
