Injured Trio To Be Assessed

23 January 2013

Howard, Sweeney and Richards are all doubtful for Saturday's trip to Portsmouth.

Steve Howard and Antony Sweeney will both be assessed at the training ground after the pair were forced off through injury during Tuesday night's game with Bournemouth.

The game was less than five minutes old when Sweeney fell awkwardly on his knee and he was subsequently replaced by Jack Baldwin, while Howard went off later in the game clutching his left hamstring.

Both players will now be looked at by the Club's medical staff but both are thought to be doubtful to make the trip to Portsmouth this weekend.

Jordan Richards is also struggling to be fit to face Pompey after missing Tuesday night's game with a knee injury sustained during training on Monday; the full-back is set to undergo a scan on Thursday.
