Matchday Programme: What's Inside?

1 February 2013

We review Saturday's packed edition of the ever-popular Never Say Die.

Simon Walton opens up in an exclusive interview to be published in this weekend's issue of popular Matchday Programme Never Say Die.

The midfielder admits that his first six months have been a "nightmare" but insists that he remains determined to turn things around both from a team and a personal point of view.

Also inside on Saturday you can see how Neil Austin fared in our On The Podium feature - the full-back reveals all about who is the worst dressed in the squad, why he's claiming a goal scored by Andy Monkhouse and which pop star once sang for his wife!

Phil Dunn looks back on the debut of legendary keeper Barry Watling in Start Of Something Big, while Colin Foster turns his focus on Gateshead as he continues to follow the fortunes of clubs who once formed our regular opposition.

There are columns from boss John Hughes, Club Captain Ritchie Humphreys and Chief Executive Russ Green, as well all the latest news from the Club's Reserves and Academy set-up.

We have match photos from our games against Bournemouth and Portsmouth for you to enjoy, plus John Phillips moves in to the early 2000s in his study of past Pools kits.

Overall, it's just good value for money and has plenty in there to keep you reading so make sure you pick up you copy while stocks last on your way in to Victoria Park.
