We bring you an update on the injured Pools duo following the win over Crewe.Pools' medical staff will assess Evan Horwood and Simon Walton after the pair both picked up injuries during Tuesday night's 3-0 win over Crewe Alexandra at Victoria Park.
Walton was forced off during the first half after picking up a calf problem in the early stages though it's not clear right now how serious the injury is and will be need to be looked at by physios.
Horwood completed the full ninety minutes but was left hobbling at the final whistle due to pain in his calf and will be examined at the training ground in the coming days.
Boss John Hughes - who has named the same starting eleven in each of the last seven unbeaten games - will be crossing his fingers both players can be fit in time for Saturday's trip to Doncaster Rovers.
