Team News: Pools v Brentford

18 April 2013

John Hughes has an injury concern over Peter Hartley ahead of Saturday's televised game against Brentford at Victoria Park (5.20pm kick-off).

The defender has been struggling with a knee problem but is hopeful of recovering in time to line-up against The Bees in Pools' last home game of the campaign.

Evan Horwood and Antony Sweeney both returned to the squad for the weekend win over Tranmere Rovers and will be in contention once again on Saturday.

Jordan Richards remains on the sidelines with a knee injury, while goalkeeper Andy Rafferty is continuing to build his match fitness.

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler will be without defender Tony Craig and top scorer Clayton Donaldson for the trip to the north east.

Both players were sent-off during Tuesday's night's eventful 2-2 draw against promotion rivals Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
