The Club has paid tribute to BBC Tees commentator Brian Arrundale following his retirement.
It was the end of an era at Victoria Park on Saturday as BBC Tees stalwart Brian Arrundale commentated on his very last Hartlepool United game.
Brian has now hung up his microphone after calling the action across the local airwaves for an incredible 33 years.
During that time he's described some key moments in the Club's history, such as the promotions of 1990/91, 2002/03 and 2006/07 as well as the Play-Off Final drama in 2005.
And to mark his three decades covering the Club, we were proud to have Pools legend Brian Honour present him with an honorary Season Ticket for the 2013/14 campaign.
"He's wonderful fella and he's got a real love for Pools," explained Honour.
"It's sad that he'll no longer be commentating on the games on the radio but you can bet he'll be keeping a keen interest in the Club so it's great that they've given him a Season Ticket.
"He's become part of the fixtures and fittings at The Vic so it will be strange not seeing him in the press box or hearing him on the radio but I wish him all the best in his retirement."
