Team News: Pools v Shrewsbury Town

20 September 2012

Neale Cooper has admitted that he will make changes to his starting line-up for Saturday's League One game against Shrewsbury Town at Victoria Park (3pm kick-off).

The Pools boss was hurt by the 5-0 midweek defeat at Preston North End and is expected to make at least two alterations to his starting eleven at the weekend.

Steve Howard is an injury doubt after needing six stitches in his shin during half time at Preston and Cooper will make a late decision on the summer signing.

Shrewsbury Town boss Graham Turner made four changes to his line-up for their midweek win over Coventry City and could opt to stick with the same side on Saturday.

Joe Jacobsen and Aaron Wildig were both handed their first league starts of the season, while Michael Hector and Terry Gornell impressed after being recalled to the team.
