Bad Weather Affects Training Schedule

26 September 2012

Heavy rain across the north of England has played havoc with Pools' training schedule, with players struggling to make it in to the Club's training base in Durham.

Bad weather meant road closures across the region due to flooding, making travel unsafe and, in some cases impossible, as a month's worth of rain fell in just 24 hours.

Neale Cooper was forced to cancel Tuesday's planned training session and has instead called his players in to work today to make up for the lost time.

The Pools squad will now train as normal for the remainder of the week before travelling to Colchester on Friday in preparation for the weekend's game at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
