Pools have this afternoon swooped to complete the signing of Ryan Noble on a one-month loan deal from Premier League outfit Sunderland. The striker jumped at the chance to link-up with Neale Cooper's squad for a second time after scoring two goals in nine appearances during a two-month loan stint with Pools at the end of last season.
The Pools boss watched the highly-rated front man in action in a Reserves game against Middlesbrough on Thursday afternoon during which he scored both goals in a 2-1 win for the Black Cats.
Cooper has made no secret of his desire to bring the talented 21-year-old back to The Vic and he was allowed to train with the Pools squad this morning while the two clubs discussed terms on the deal.
"I've never hidden the fact I'd love Ryan to come back," Cooper told Pools Player.
"He came in last year and did really well for us and fitted in straight away; I've been chasing it up but he's been in and about the First Team plans at Sunderland this year.
"I'm delighted we've managed to do the deal now and I have to say Sunderland have been really helpful with us - they want him to get games and I think he will really thrive playing off big Steve Howard."
Noble has been handed the same number 35 shirt he wore last term and will go straight in to the squad for Saturday's trip to Crewe, subject to standard FA and Premier League clearance.
