Micky Barron will ask his players to give something back to the supporters this weekend when they make the trip to face Brentford at Griffin Park.
Pools sit bottom of the League One table after the disappointing midweek defeat at Bury and Barron says the players must keep their focus to give them a chance of climbing away from danger.
"We'll concentrate on the Brentford game entirely and what we want to do in the game," he told Pools Player.
"It's my job to pick the players up and make sure they're bright and bubbly come Saturday.
"Players always look forward to the next game; they'll want to be in the line-up and show people they aren't a bad team, they aren't bad players and they want get back up the league.
"I think the fans have been absolutely terrific; they haven't criticised the players and they've stayed right behind the team.
"They have appreciated that support and they are really trying to get the win we need - we owe the fans a performance and hopefully that will come on Saturday.
"We need to give them something back; there haven't been enough Saturdays or Tuesdays where they've left games happy in the last year or so and that needs to change.
"I've told the lads I don't think we will get out of the situation we're in just in one or two weeks - it might take a while but we have to stay focused and determined."
