Pools have agreed a deal with Middlesbrough to keep young forward Charlie Wyke on loan at Victoria Park for another month. The 19-year-old arrived at Pools at the start of October and made an encouraging debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Bradford City.
However, a nasty gash on his ankle sustained in the next game against Doncaster Rovers cut short his stay and he returned to Middlesbrough for treatment.
He was back with the Pools squad and named on the bench for Saturday's trip to Chesterfield in what was the final game of his initial loan.
But the two clubs have come to an agreement today which will allow him to remain at The Vic in to December.
