Micky Barron gives us his reaction to Pools' defeat to Tranmere Rovers at Victoria Park.
Micky Barron was disappointed to see his side fall to defeat against Tranmere Rovers but felt that they had done enough to convince fans they are fighting for the shirt.
Rovers scored twice in the last thirteen minutes to extend Pools' winless run but Barron thought it could have been different had his team found a sharper cutting edge in the final third.
"I thought in the first half we played well," he told Pools Player.
"We passed the ball around well and got in to some good situations without really having that killer edge to score a goal.
"In the second half we didn't get on the ball well enough and we gave them back possession too easily and with that you could see the momentum swing in their favour.
"I think the players showed the fans that they do care and they are fighting for the shirt and the Club but it's really tough for everyone concerned at the moment.
"But it's one win we need to lift the spirits though at times it feels a long way off because until we stop giving goals away it will remain very tough."
