Team News: Pools v Tranmere Rovers

6 November 2012

Micky Barron is considering making changes for Wednesday night's game with Tranmere Rovers at Victoria Park (7.45pm kick-off).

The temporary boss was far from happy with his side's poor performance at Chesterfield on Saturday and is set to shuffle the pack for the return to league action.

Andy Monkhouse remains a fortnight away from fitness so will be forced to sit the game out, while Luke James is sidelined for six weeks after a double hernia operation.

Andy Rafferty is the only other Pools player in the treatment room and he's not due back until the New Year after undergoing knee surgery during the summer.

Tranmere Rovers boss Ronnie Moore will be without Paul Black for the trip to the north east due to a foot injury, while Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro is out longer term with a broken foot.
