Pools Players Make Community Visits

8 November 2012

Pools have been busy in the community in recent weeks

Pools' players have once again been out in the local community, visiting various schemes to offer their support.

Peter Hartley went along to Rossmere Primary School last week and spent time with the children who were attending Hartlepool United's Community Sports Foundation's half-term Soccer Course.

The defender watched the children play a few matches before handing out medals and trophies to the star performers of the week.

Over at Dyke House Sports & Technology College, Paul Murray and new signing Zak Boagey went along to another of HUCSF's Soccer Courses.

And the pair took time to answer questions from the young footballers, before presenting medals to the children.

Meanwhile, a large group of the First Team players went to join in with a disabled coaching session at East Durham College, Peterlee.

Scott Flinders, Neil Austin, Simon Walton, Andy Monkhouse and Sam Collins enjoyed part of the session before posing for photographs.

The disabled coaching session takes place at the same venue every Thursday from 1pm to 3pm and costs £2 per session.

Evan Horwood was also out and about recently, this time popping in to the weekly coaching session that takes place at Catcote School.
