One-Off Shirt To Be Worn At Yeovil

9 November 2012

Pools will once again wear a specially embroidered shirts at Yeovil Town this weekend to raise money for the annual Poppy Appeal.

The one-off Navy away shirts will be worn by the squad on Saturday before they are auctioned off to raise funds for the Appeal, giving supporters the chance to get their hands on a great piece of Pools memorabilia.

We'll have more details on the charity auction next week but we can now show you the photos of how the shirts will look - complete with the motto "Shoulder To Shoulder With All Who Serve".

"We are proud to be once again supporting the Poppy Appeal and all the good work the British Legion carry out," explained Chief Executive Russ Green.

"I think we were one of the first clubs to place a poppy on our shirts and thanks to the generosity of our fans we've raised substantial figures for the charity in the past.

"It's brilliant that we're able to support the Poppy Appeal in this way and we'd encourage all fans to give what they can and look out for info on how they can get hold of a shirt next week."
