An impressive final sales total at The Vic
Pools have now sold a grand total of 3,838 Season Tickets for 2012/13 after Deadline Day proved another busy one in the Victoria Park Ticket Office.
Staff are currently continuing to process telephone and online orders so the figure could yet climb closer to the 4,000 landmark.
Almost 200 fans raced to get their cut-price Season Ticket during the final day of sales, with prices set to revert to regular levels when doors open on Wednesday.
The deal was announced at the beginning of April and since then Pools fans have responded in their numbers to ensure The Vic will be a busy place again this season.
"We're so pleased with the way fans have pledged their support once again," commented Chief Executive Russ Green.
"I think we were all realistic enough to know that we perhaps wouldn't hit the same figure we did last summer, but to come close to 4,000 again is brilliant.
"Having more fans behind them on a match day really helps the players so let's hope that we can work together again to ensure a successful season on the pitch.
"I'd like to thank everyone who has supported the deal from its inception - we've tried to make football affordable for everyone in the town so it's great that so many have taken advantage of that."
