Striker pulls out of Bishops friendly with sore kneeColin Nish will be assessed on Thursday after being forced to pull out of Pools' friendly at Bishop Auckland on Wednesday suffering from a sore knee.
The striker was hampered by knee problems during his first season at Victoria Park after arriving last summer from Scottish Premier League outfit Hibernian.
Nish underwent surgery on both of his knees during the campaign, which restricted him to just twenty appearances in league and cup during 2011/12.
Physio staff will examine the 31-year-old front man at the training ground this week and boss Neale Cooper will be crossing his fingers that the injury does not turn out to be too serious on this occasion.
