After a penalty shootout defeat in the Isuzu FA Trophy, Hartlepool United are back in National League action as they travel to Ebbsfleet United on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
Pools come into the game in 16th place, four points ahead of Ebbsfleet in 21st. In league action, they've had one win, one draw and one loss under caretaker Lennie Lawrence so far. After the arrivals of Courtney Duffus and Tom Parkes, Pools have seen two loan departures in Brody Paterson and Jake Hastie during the week.
Ebbsfleet are led by German manager Dennis Kutrieb, and their side features a former Poolie in Rakish Bingham. Last time out, the Fleet claimed a 2-0 home victory over Wealdstone with goals from Ousseynou Cissé and Dom Poleon.
The sides have met just seven times in the past, with Pools failing to win so far. Three matches have ended in a draw, while Ebbsfleet have won four times. Earlier this season, the sides played out a 2-2 draw after goals from Mani Dieseruvwe and Jake Hastie.
Dan Dodds, Alex Lacey, Mani Dieseruvwe and Josh Umerah remain on the sidelines with their respective injuries. Callum Cooke is also doubtful for the fixture after suffering with an ankle injury.
