Hartlepool United are delighted to announce that Luke Armstrong’s loan deal will now run till the end of the season.
Armstrong joined Pools on loan at the beginning of December from League Two side Salford City. The original deal was a loan till January with the verbal agreement Armstrong would stay till the end of the season.
The Forward has hit the ground running since arriving at The Vic, scoring six goals in seven games. We are delighted to confirm the agreement with Salford city to keep Armstrong a part of the side till the end of the 2020/21 season.
Dave Challinor added:
‘Luke staying to the end of the season was a deal that in my eyes and his was agreed back in December when he came to us’.
‘The signing of the paperwork is the formalities part of it boxed off and anyone that wasn’t, can rest easy that he’ll be part of our group as the season progresses’.
‘He’s been brilliant since he came in, his work ethic on the pitch has got him his just deserts with his goals but off the pitch he’s always doing his extras, in the gym doing his individual work and is a fantastic professional as well as been a really good, humble human being’.
