Gary Liddle is hoping his vast experience can be a vital commodity for Pools during the festive period after he secured a dramatic return to the Club on loan from Walsall.
The 33-year-old made almost 300 appearances during his first stint with Pools and he’s admitted he can’t wait to pull on the blue and white stripes again during his loan spell.
“I’m thrilled to be back,” Liddle told Pools TV.
“It’s been a good seven years or so but everything has fallen in to place with the move – I have been close to coming back a couple of times over the years and I’m happy it’s finally happened.
“I am looking forward to kicking on now, getting some game time hopefully and helping the Club get some much-needed results over Christmas and New Year.
“I’ve obviously played a lot of games and I always say experience is important in any squad so hopefully I can bring that bit of calmness, composure and get us playing the way the Manager wants us to.”
