Welcome to the Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation Armed Forces Veterans HUB

Great thanks and appreciation to the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust who have funded our Veterans project £6,239 which has been of great help in these troubled times of the Covid-19 pandemic. The funding, working within the government guidelines has enabled us to provide online services and activities for those who are in isolation due to age, health restrictions or disability, as well as active members. Samsung tablets have also been distributed to veterans who do not have access to internet equipment which has allowed them to stay in touch with family and friends, supporting their health and well-being through attending zoom meetings/sessions. Staff have also been able to assist and direct those most vulnerable who need extra help through our Royal British Legion case worker.

The Aim of the HUB is to Facilitate Veterans and serving Armed Forces Personal to meet Face to Face in a relaxed safe social environment to enjoy free light refreshments and biscuits getting together for some inter Service banter to combat loneliness and social isolation.
