Info For Junior Fans

Hello Junior Poolies and welcome to a section of our website which is just for you.

We’re going to take you through all sections of the Club which may be of interest to you and that could make your next visit to The Northern Gas and Power Stadium even better.

We’ll start our look through the Club at the Ticket Office, the first stop you make to pick up your tickets ahead of a match.

Tickets
I’m sure many of you will have your Season Tickets for the 2017/18 season – Under 16s could buy their Season Tickets for £75 this season, that’s just £3.26 per match!

And if you don’t have a Season Ticket – you can still buy one now from the Club Ticket Office.

If it’s just a match ticket you want, then first you need to decide which stand you want to be in…

Cyril Knowles Stand
This stand is all seated and it runs along the side of the pitch where you will find the dugouts and the players’ tunnel. The Family Enclosure is situated within the Cyril Knowles Stand.

Niramax Stand & Terrace
The Niramax Stand is split into two parts. The top half of the stand is all seated, with the bottom half a terrace, where you stand up to watch the game. This stand also runs along the side of the pitch, opposite the Cyril Knowles Stand.

Prostate Cancer UK Stand (Town End)
The Town End is all terracing and is behind the goal and there is usually plenty of noise generated from our fans singing and cheering the team on.

Buying Match Tickets
So if you’ve decided where you want to sit, you will now need to buy your ticket.

The Ticket Office is on Clarence Road, just next to the Executive Entrance into the ground and if you arrive here at the right time, you may just see some of the players arriving and get a photograph or two taken!

Tickets for Under 16s are just £10 on matchday and you can buy these in advance from the Ticket Office or on the day from the Main Ticket Office or any of our Matchday Ticket Offices too.

Right, so you’ve got your tickets, what should we do now?

Let’s pop into the Club Shop and see what they have available.

Club Shop
You’ll find the Club Shop at The Vic within the main car park, which is on Clarence Road (next to the main office block).

As well as selling the latest shirts, shorts, training kit and other clothing, the Club Shop sells a whole range of lower-priced items.

From pens and pencils, notebooks and teddy bears to footballs, mugs and scarves, there is plenty to take a look through.

Once you’ve had a look in the Club Shop, it’s time to take your place in the ground.

Food & Drink
If you’re sitting in the Cyril Knowles Stand then you will be able to visit the H’Angus Hangout before the game and pick up some treats from our selection of sweets, drinks and healthy options.

We also have The Hungry Monkey within the CK Stand which sells hot food such as burgers, fries and our special foot-long hotdogs (these are a real matchday challenge!) and cold snacks.

There are catering outlets in all other stands which sell the same food – just without the Monkey themes.

H’Angus the Monkey
I’m sure you know all about H’Angus, our cheeky monkey mascot.

You will see him causing mischief around the ground on a matchday – you will spot him walking around waving to all of the fans in every stand before each game.

The cheeky monkey then stays to watch the game from the corner of the pitch, cheering on the team. Make sure you keep your eye out for him!

Mascots
When the players run out onto the pitch to kick-off the game, you might see a young fan or two run out ahead of them. This will be our Matchday Mascot for the day.

A mascot plays a special role in each match, meeting the team before the game, getting a tour of the ground and then enjoying a pre-match kickabout on the pitch.

And then, a mascot leads both teams out onto the pitch ahead of the game – hopefully bringing some luck to the team that day!

Match Day
Once the match is underway, all that’s left to do is to cheer the team on from your seat or from your place on the terrace.

If you have any problems during your time at the stadium, we have stewards all around the ground who will be able to help you. You’ll spot them in their bright yellow or bright orange jackets.

If there’s any questions you have about your matchday experience at The Vic, you can email them through to enquiries@hartlepoolunited.co.uk and we’ll do our best to help you.
