Pools Youth Team will look to make it three wins in succession this weekend when they travel to face Lincoln City in the Youth Alliance League (12noon kick-off).
Micky Barron's youngsters quickly shrugged off the disappointment of the opening day defeat to Notts County with convincing victories over Burton Albion and Grimsby Town.
Now the Youth Team Coach is urging his players to continue building the momentum and keep confidence high in the camp.
"It's been an enjoyable couple of weeks in terms of results for us," Barron explained.
"But I've been involved with football long enough now to not get carried away with two victories the same as we don't get carried away when we lose games.
"We're in a confident mood at the moment and the lads are very upbeat on the training ground so hopefully we can take that in to Saturday's game and get another three points."
Barron is facing a selection headache at the weekend with several players unavailable for the game, most notably young keeper Liam Mooney who is travelling with the First Team to MK Dons.
Daniel Johnson is sidelined with a shin injury, Michael Pearson has a thigh strain, Andy Charlton is struggling with an ankle problem and Lewis Hawkins is suspended.
"I don't think any of them are too long-term which is good but it's making things a little difficult this weekend," Barron added.
The game takes place at Lincoln City's training ground on Carlton Boulevard (LN2 4WJ).
We'll have a full report from the game with Lincoln City here on the Official Website on Monday morning.
