Pools Youth Team have now finalised their pre season plans, which will see them competing in the prestigious Milk Cup competition on Northern Ireland.

The Milk Cup kicks off on Monday 28th July (5pm) when Micky Barron's side will take on County Londonderry in the group stages of the competition.

The second group game comes on Tuesday 29th July and the opposition is Fluminense, a team from Rio de Janiero in Brazil (5pm kick off).

Once the group games are completed, the teams then move on to another stage of the competition, depending upon their group ranking.

With teams including Manchester United, Ipswich Town, Borussia Dortmund, Hertha Berlin and Sevilla also playing in the tournament, it looks set to be a good experience for Pools.
