Drive Vauxhall

Chris Turner was left frustrated after his side were forced to settle for a point despite taking a two-goal lead against Swindon Town at Victoria Park.

Goals from Adam Boyd and Antony Sweeney had put Pools in the driving seat but a second half fightback from the Robins saw honours even at the end.

"We got ourselves in to a great position at half time but we didn't really perform in the second half," he told Pools Player.

"We gave away two goals and in some respects could have lost the game because it was 2-2 with fifteen minutes left but the boys dug deep and came back in to it.

"You can be disappointed but Swindon are a good side - they didn't perform in the first half but they came back strongly in the second.

"I thought we competed well but we ran out of energy in that second half and that cost us the game."
