Season Ticket Sales Set To Beat Last Term

Posted on: Tue 27 Jul 2010

Season Ticket sales for the new campaign are set to beat figures from last year after fans responded positively to the deals made available for 2010/2011.

Supporters have been arriving in steady numbers at the Victoria Park Ticket Office since Season Tickets were launched in June and figures have climbed rapidly during that time.

As of lunch time today the Club had sold 1,921 Season Tickets, already just 31 short of the total number sold during the whole of last term.

And with over a month to go until the big kick-off, the news of sales has been music to the ears of Chief Executive Russ Green.

"We're very happy with sales and we're happy with the numbers who have taken up our Early Bird offers," Green commented

"For people who have missed the deadline for Early Birds we still have the finance scheme available where fans can pay for their tickets on a monthly basis.

"There's been a new enthusiasm around this pre season so far and it's refreshing to see that new excitement as the season approaches."
