An intelligent forward who signed for Pools on the eve of the 2009/2010 season after scoring during a pre season trial appearance against Mansfield.
Larkin began his career at Wolves under then Youth Team boss Chris Turner and the Pools Director of Sport has tracked the front man's progress ever since.
A six-figure sum brokered his move to Mansfield in 2002 and after scoring 26 goals in just over 100 appearances he moved on to Chesterfield.
Next stop was Northampton Town where he was utilised predominantly on the right wing and when he was released Turner was quickly on the phone to invite him to The Vic on trial.
