A strong and commanding central defender who has progressed quickly since joining the Club's Centre of Excellence at the age of 12.
He made the step up to the Youth Team with ease and in 2009/10 won a place in the heart of defence for the Reserves only to collect a serious knee injury and be forced to endure a spell on the sidelines.
After returning to fitness, the Club were keen to offer the promising centre-back a new challenge and he spent a period of work experience with Unibond League Division One side Garforth Town.
The move had a positive impact on his young career and he came back to The Vic with good reports and the Club were delighted to offer him a professional contract during the summer of 2010.
He made his debut for the First Team in the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth in April 2011.
