Goalkeeper Andy Rafferty was the first signing of the 2010 summer when he made the switch from Guisborough after impressing during a trial with the Club.
He has worked closely with Goalkeeper Coach Gary Walsh in his time at The Vic and delivered some solid performances in the Reserves which impressed the Pools hierarchy.
A good shot-stopper who is confident claiming crosses too, Rafferty made his debut for the First Team in the 1-1 draw with Tranmere in April and is tipped for a bright future.
