Talented youngster James Poole made a permanent move to Victoria Park in the summer of 2011 after enjoying a promising loan spell at the Club during the previous campaign.
Poole spent three months at The Vic during 2010/11 on loan from Manchester City and Mick Wadsworth made no secret of his desire to sign him up longer term if he became available. So when City freed him at the end of his contract Wadsworth wasted no time offering him the chance to come back to Pools.
A skilful player with an abundance of pace and direct style of play, Poole worked hard on his strength during the summer and could develop in to a key player at Victoria Park if he continues to progress.
