Hard-working midfielder Jon-Andre joined the Club during the summer of 2009 after being snapped up from Norwegian outfit Sarpsborg.
An attacking player who can play on the left hand side or centrally, Fredriksen likes to take people on and get the ball in to the danger area, which he can do with great menace.
He may be quite slight in build but he likes to get stuck in and is not easily outdone in the fight for possession.
A result of Pools' hard-working scouting network in Norway, Pools fans will be hoping that Chris Turner has unearthed another Scandanavian gem.
