Name: Mark Cook
Position: Goalkeeper

Young goalkeeper Mark joined the Club in the summer of 2008 following his release from Newcastle United.

He had been with the Magpies since the age of 15 and made excellent strides through their Academy but was not offered a deal by boss Kevin Keegan.

Following a successful pre season trial period at Pools he put pen to paper on a contract and will offer competition for the goalkeeper's shirt at Victoria Park.

A confident keeper who is comfortable collecting crosses, he also possesses an excellent kick.
