Young professional Martin Young is a promising midfielder who was a regular for the Reserves during their Division One East title win last season.

Although he started out as a central midfielder with Pools during his younger days, Martin has since made a switch to the right wing and on occasion also played right-back for the second string.

Born in the town, he has come througb the Club's Centre of Excellence during which time he helped the Youth Team to Dallas Cup success.
