Young midfielder Michael made his first start for the First Team in the game at Blackpool in September 2005. He went on to make 22 appearances for the senior side in the 2005/06 season, impressing The Vic faithful with some strong performances.
However, he failed to cement a First Team place last term in a competitive midfield, making only seven appearances for Pools.
Michael enjoyed a month's loan spell at York City as he looked to maintain his match fitness.
His positive running means that he is an exciting player to watch and, with him playing on either flank, the youngster proved a valuable addition to the squad and he is looking to make more of an impact with the First Team this season.
