Pacey striker Foley remains the youngest player to ever appear for the Club after Neale Cooper brought him off the bench against Port Vale in August 2003 when he was aged just 16 years and 44 days.
Since then he has been on the fringe of the First Team squad and used on many occasions as an impact substitute when his pace can often unsettle tired defenders.
Last season Foley carved out a reputation as a bit of a giant-killer, first scoring against West Brom to help Pools knock the Premier League outfit out of the Carling Cup.
But Foley saved his best for the FA Cup clash with top flight Stoke City when he fired an unstoppable thirty-yard strike in to the top corner of the net to secure Pools' place in Round Four and claim national headlines.
He started out in the Youth system as a central striker but has been used more and more on the right flank in recent seasons.
