It may be the end of the season but it is the start of a new term for the Pools Study Support Centre. Eight new classes have started their Playing for Success courses last week and will be joining us at The Vic right through until the start of the next season!

The Year 5 and Year 7 students will be with us for the next 10 weeks to brush up on their Maths and English skills whilst also having some fun along the way.

We welcome the children from Clavering, St Teresa's RC, St Bega's RC and Eldon Grove Primary Schools along with the students from Manor College, English Martyrs, High Tunstall and St Hild's School. Many of the Y7 students are familiar faces, having previously attended the Study Centre whilst in Primary School, so it's particularly pleasing to see them volunteer to work with us again.

We also have a new group working in the Pools kitchen on the 'What's Cooking Kids?' programme.

The Y4 children from Owton Manor will be preparing tasty, healthy dishes over the next few weeks. We hope that all of our students enjoy the term ahead and you can keep up to date with their achievements here at hartlepoolunited.co.uk throughout summer.
