Sacred Heart pupils in Pools Study Support Centre were treated to a visit by young players Matty Tymon and Alan Power last week.

The pair joined forces to answer a series of questions from the youngsters. Tymon told all about his goal record for the Youth and Reserve Teams at Pools.

Power revealed he enjoys playing snooker as well as football and both players picked out James Brown as the most talented player in the squad.

Both Alan and Matty took time to chat with pupils, signing autographs as they went round all of the children in the classroom.

Pools players' involvement in classes with the Study Support Centre is a major boost for all children and rewards their hard work and enthusiasm.
