Gary Liddle took time out last week to pop into Pools Study Support Centre and help out pupils from Y6 at Rift House School with their lessons.

The in-form defender was put on the spot by the budding reporters who asked him an array of questions to find out more about the Pools player.

And Liddle revealed that in ten years' time he hopes will be able to look back on a good career.

The pupils also found out that he has had two big injuries to date in his career - breaking both his hand and his back.

And after answering all of the questions, the defender was on his way to leave the pupils to put his answers into their latest piece of work.
