Pupils using the new studio facilities at Pools Study Support Centre have recently completed the first episode of the Pools Podcast.

The ten-minute audio production was written, recorded and produced by six pupils from Eldon Grove Primary School.

Each member of the team had a specific job to ensure the group met their production deadline.

Presenter Niamh Wilson put some probing questions to Chief Executive Russ Green about Pools' new strip while reporter Jed McGowan went out and about to find out what is happening at The Vic during the close season.

Alongside Niamh and Jed, Ellen Gardner-Howard, Daniel Graham, Josh Noble and Ollie Sherwood were presented with a CD copy of their work at an assembly in school.

Once the season gets underway, regular episodes will be available to listen to throughout the year as more schools are invited to take part.
