Pools Players Attend Study Support Centre
Once again members of the First Team squad have shown what good sports they are when they've worked recently with the pupils in the Pools Study Support Centre.
Ben Clark patiently answered questions from the Y5 and Y6 pupils from Greatham Primary during his visit to the Pools Classroom last week.
He gave the budding young interviewers a real insight into the life of a footballer, outlining training routines and how it feels to walk out of the tunnel on a match day at the Vic.
Matty Robson was given a real grilling by the West Park Primary pupils with some difficult and in depth questions that had been prepared by the Y6 students themselves.
Again Matty answered with honesty and humour. However, he went one step further when working with the students from High Tunstall College.
The Y8s have been creating their own 'Match of the Day' style video and Matty was put in the spotlight when asked to give his opinions in front of the camera, without a rehearsal.
Thanks again to Matty for rising to the challenge and playing his part perfectly!

Later in the term we hope to involve more of the squad in the journalistic style activities undertaken by the Pools Study Support Centre students.
The lads are always willing to lend a hand and of course their visits are the highlight of the pupils time with us. We are really grateful for the time they give to our students.
